Green kitchen cabinets continue to gain popularity
Along with timeless shades of white, blue and green kitchen cabinets continue to gain popularity, and these nature-inspired colors are expected to remain popular into 2027.
Two standout green shades used for kitchen cabinetry are Reed Green by Thermofoil and Evergreen Fog by Sherwin-Williams. Both offer an attractive alternative to traditional white cabinetry, bringing warmth, character, and a contemporary feel to the kitchen.
As shown in the accompanying photo, Pacific Kitchens used select white maple for the cabinet doors and drawer fronts, along with maple veneer to reface the existing cabinet boxes. All materials were painted to match before installation, creating a cohesive, updated look. New countertops completed the transformation.
Thermofoil’s Reed Green offers a slightly deeper shade of green, making it an excellent choice for homeowners who want to introduce color while maintaining a sophisticated, timeless appearance.
